Sunny Beach, located on Bulgaria’s coast, is empty – unfortunate timing, as the region on the Black Sea has just graduated from insider tip to popular vacation spot for many guests from Western Europe. Now the main source of income has dried up and everyone is waiting impatiently for the return of vacationers after the virus. But will the tourists come? A whole region is fighting for survival. Our film accompanies Bulgarians in famous Sunny Beach on their path to an uncertain future.
