Isidro is 10 years old and belongs to the Tarahumara, a Mexican indigenous community. He lives in a small hut together with his parents, his grandma, his twin brother and his sister. Even though life is rather modest here, with basically no electricity, Isidro is happy to be a Raramuri. The Raramuri are famously fast runners. Some Raramuri have already won the biggest marathons in the world in nothing but bast sandals. Isidro wants to run as well and will challenge the neighboring village during the upcoming thanksgiving celebrations.
