June 4^th 2020 marks the 100^th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon, the peace treaty between the Allies of World War I and the Kingdom of Hungary. The treaty decided the new order of Central and Eastern Europe by reinforcing and putting into law the secessions from the Kingdom of Hungary that had already taken place.

How is it possible that an event that took place one hundred years ago can have such far-reaching consequences and still be politically relevant today?
