Mariella is 11 years old. She lives with her parents and her four siblings in Berlin. Mariella has been training Kung Fu with her father since she was three years old.

He is a Shaolin Master and runs a Kung Fu school where the whole family is involved and Mariella trains three to four times a week, Kung Fu is part of her life.

The most exciting thing for her are the competitions, she always fights with excitement when she stands on the mat in front of the jury. Then Mariella closes her eyes briefly, breathes in and out deeply and tries to concentrate.
