Saving lives

Every day, Sarah and Nico face the professional challenge of doing everything humanly possible to save lives. Nico (32) works as an emergency paramedic and firefighter in Berlin-Buckow. Sarah Klose (32) is an emergency physician at the Ernst von Bergmann Klinikum in Potsdam. Both have consciously chosen a lifesaving profession. Every day they face the challenge of providing the best possible care to patients quickly, despite traffic chaos, a lack of appreciation and outdated technology, a shortage of staff, high patient numbers and little recognition. The viewer follows the protagonists on duty day and night as they reach their mental and physical limits. The film ends in the emergency room of the Bergmann Clinic, where doctor Sandra Klose managed to save the life of a seriously ill person.
