January 15th, 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of Rosa Luxemburg’s death.
Rosa Luxemburg was the first woman of her time to steadfastly call for an international battle against the old order; for the expropriation of capitalist property, the liberation of women, in regards to suffrage, access to education and a self-determined life, against the military state, against war and the close and rigid nationalist politics in Europe and all over the world. The film explores Rosa Luxemburg’s life and work during her time and her significance and topicality today.
