It’s a place with a long history, an attractive present, as well as a frequently photographed sight in Paris: the department store Galeries Lafayette. The department store has been a family company for five generations. It has set trends and has survived wars and upheavals unscathed. We take a look behind the scenes, normally hidden from the customer, and accompany the makers and fashion trendsetters during their work.
